We are revamping our website to improve its quality and accessibility for our members and community. This entire process has been seamlessly undertaken by a few of our members and Mr Adam Ihsan (son of one of our members).
The Muslim Community Benevolent Association of Singapore (TMCBAS) deeply appreciate their contributions towards our organization. They have put in their valuable time and skills to review and propose new design features with automation.
Given the current Covid-19 situation, we were limited from communicating in person. They have far exceeded our expectations with their diligence to complete the task in a shorter period, while accommodating to a long list of our requests for the new website.
The successful launch of this website was made possible and entirely sponsored with the generosity of one of our members.
We are heartened to have members who work towards improving our Association, benefiting all of us and our community. This ensures me that there is a sense of belonging instilled in us and is an affirmation that this Association was established by its members. May we continue to improve from the support and hard work of our members. In Shaa Allah.
Thank you both for taking time to assist us in this improvement and may Allah bless your kind efforts. Ameen.
We would also like to thank Mr Mohamad Huzaifah Bin Bahron, a member of The Singapore Customs & Immigration Muslim Staff Benevolent Association’s management committee, for his relentless efforts in transforming the organisation that practices conventional management to computerisation and digitalisation. His contribution towards the development and progress of the Association in IT and digitalisation is astounding.
Mr Ghazali Ibad for his competency in crafting Association by-laws and his involvement in successful reviewing of 2 by-laws amendments of The Singapore Customs & Immigration Muslim Staff Benevolent Association in Oct 2017 & in 2021 for The Muslim Community Benevolent Association of Singapore.
For more than a decade, Hj Mukhtar s/o Musha Balwan has rendered his services with much diligence and integrity as our trusted Honorary Treasurer. The knowledge of our Association’s finances has been largely imparted from Almarhum Hj Mohd Yusoff Bin Hj Mohd Yunos. This was instrumental in managing our finances and maintaining the financial balance of our association to be back in operation.
With such competency, Hj Mukhtar have been serving with dedication since 1997 while he was the Honorary Assistant Treasurer. Since he was elected as Honorary Treasurer in 2004, he has been focused in assisting our members and aligned our Association with success. We greatly commend his efforts and sincerity.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to Mohamad Huzaifah bin Bahron, Rahul Abdullah, Razali bin Ali, Rasimah Binte Mohd Rashid, Fadli bin Ali and Bajuri bin Ali. Our new Committee Members have successfully inculcated a good work culture. Their continued efforts will encourage community spirit within the association, helping us move forward together.
Finally, we would like to thank our IT Team; Fadli bin Ali, Rahul Abdullah led by Bajuri bin Ali for creating the website from scratch. The team had spent numerous hours understanding the organization requirement, goals, the purpose it served, target audience and content for the website.
The team had put a plan together on the requirement gathered, creating sitemap for pages to be created and help making a web flow navigation, understanding the available resources, and deciding on what technologies will be used for the website.
The team had put up so many hours working with Startup Boost team and our committee members, working out the website design. Tweaking the design until the layout and the structure are finally worked out with all the ideas incorporated based on the organization requirement.
