THEME OF ORGANISATION
Lembaga Kebajikan Pekerja-Pekerja Islam Kastam Singapura was renamed The Muslim Community Benevolent Association of Singapore (TMCBAS). Since its inception, TMCBAS has helped to ease the burden of its members and their registered dependents. Assistance will be provided in the event of death, with discounted cost for burial services, hospitalisation assistance, educational awards for members’ children who excelled in academic achievement and members’ children in dire need of financial assistance as well as financial assistance for members, who are incapacitated.
CORPORATE LOGO, LETTER HEAD, MEMBERSHIP CARD
Our new logo was designed by Hj Mohammad Sidek Bin Nordin, a member of the Association on 27 Jul 2021.
The new logo incorporates the old logos with the acronym LKPPIKS (Lembaga Kebajikan Pekerja-Pekerja Islam Kastam Singapura) & SCIMSBA (The Singapore Customs and Immigration Benevolent Association of Singapore), and the addition of “Est 1965” that reflects the year of its establishment.
These details have intrinsic value. It is a reminder of the legacy of our pioneers as we work towards maintaining the integrity of our association. Moreover, it is reminiscent of the hardships and sacrifices of our pioneers with each member at different times.
The spread of the wings is symbolic of our migration and extension to the inclusion of all Muslims under our wings. The green circle with a crescent moon and star is an internationally recognized symbol of Islam.
